Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM)

In September 2006, the College’s Lay Partnership Group launched the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) as a component of the College’s Safety, Quality, and Excellence initiative. The PPQM is awarded to Practices that demonstrate excellence in meeting patient expectations. In December 2007 Dr Allan Dalziel from the McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic, Glasgow, was one of the first to achieve the ‘Patient Partnership Quality Mark’ (PPQM), awarded by The College of Chiropractors. In 2010 the McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic in Glasgow, has once more been recognised with the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM).

Clinical Management Quality Mark (CMQM) Award
McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic, Glasgow 2010-2012
A second quality mark - the Clinical Management Quality Mark (CMQM) – was launched in 2008/9 to complement the PPQM. The CMQM recognises excellence in terms of operating within a structured and managed clinical environment. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in a range of areas including clinical audit, risk management, incident reporting, outcome measurement, patient satisfaction, emergency procedures and operational policy.
The McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic in Glasgow has been recognised with the Clinical Management Quality Mark. Dr Allan Dalziel has demonstrated excellence in a range of areas including clinical audit, risk management, incident reporting, outcome measurement, patient satisfaction, emergency procedures and operational policy.
The awards for 2010-2012 were presented by Tim Jay, College President at the College's Third Awards Dinner held at The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London, on Wednesday 20 January 2010.
The McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic in Glasgow is the only practice in Scotland to be awarded these two prestigious awards.
